Highly aromatic tree used for its bark and foliage. Oil is extracted from its foliage and used in perfumes, colognes and scents. Slow growing tree but one of the easier to grow plants we carry.
 
Will tolerate sun up to about 100F. Will require shade past 100F+. Do not plant in full shade.
Requires frost protection. (Check out our frost protection video for more details).
Shallow roots, safe to plant close to fences, walls, etc.
Very soft wood, protect from wind.
Slow grower, expect a few inches of growth per year.
Good for container growing due to its slow growth.
