  • Cashmere Bouquet growing tips:

  • Best time to plant: When night temperatures are at least 50f consistently and expected to rise for at least the next 3 months. (Late spring to late summer) for most places.

  • Sun: Full sun.

  • Winter: Established plants will tolerate cold in the low teens. Upper canopy may sustain frost damage but will readily come back from the roots in the spring.

  • Growth Structure: Fast growing shrub. Once fully grown, it can reach a height of up to 6-8ft.

  • Root system: Shallow, fibrous roots. It will send suckers around the main rootball.

  • Watering: Water frequently. Do not let this plant fully dry in a pot. Extremely hard to over water.

  • Fertilization: In pots, use any slow release fertilizer. In ground, plain compost, mulch is all you need.

  • Container growing: This plant does well in a container temporarily. Due to its rapid growth, it will require you to up-pot it probably yearly.

  •  Personal growing tip: Do not let this plant go dry especially in full sun. A few hours of dryness is all it takes to kill a new unrooted plant either in a pot or in the ground. Very fast growing, normally it will reach full size within 2 years.
